Melvin "Bee" Chaplin 80 of Noblesville, IN formally of Glasgow died Sunday, January 31, 2010 in Noblesville, IN. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Clyde and Elsie Daffron Chaplin. Mr. Chaplin was a retired forklift operator with United Coloring Paint Manufactory in Indianapolis, IN and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his sister Barbara Hogan Cade of Louisville; niece Janet Hogan-Rusher of Louisville, caregiver who took care of Mr. Chaplin for many years during his illness Ron Gill of Noblesville, IN; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
