Mrs. Obellee Y. (Womack) Robinson, age 83 of Jonesboro, died Friday, January 29, 2010 in Jonesboro following a brief illness.
Mrs. Robinson was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a retired beauty shop operator and a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.
Friends may visit with the family 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Southern Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 1, 2010 in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home with Reverend Charles Wesley officiating. Interment will be at Jonesboro Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Survivors include son, Jerry L. Robinson and wife Benola of Jonesboro; daughter, Carolyn Taylor and husband Cordell of Jonesboro; sister, Bobbie Rhea Sowers and husband Carles of Lawton, OK; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lige W. Womack and Jewel (Peel) Womack; husband Carroll Robinson.
Pallbearers are Tim C. Taylor, Evan Taylor, Stan Gresham, Gavin Gresham, Jack McFarland, Jackson McFarland, Jeff Blackstock and John LaBlance.
