James M. Yopp, 73, died Sunday in a Roanoke hospital. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Cleve Davis and Mrs. Terry Mabry, both of Elliston; six sisters, Mrs. Rindy Palmer, Mrs. Liza McDaniel and Mrs. Lanie Martin, all of Elliston; Mrs. Ellen Akers, Vicker, Mrs. Belle Beckner, Boones Mill, Mrs. Leafy Blankenship, Salem; three brothers, Oak Yopp, Salem; Wade Yopp, Troutville; Lewis Yopp, Ironto; three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at Galilee Methodist Church, Cove Hollow. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Grant E. Bryant Funeral Home until one hour prior to the service.
