He was born July 20, 1928 to the late Alfred Ewing and Dessie (Eskew)(Ferguson) Gwinn.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Randy Gwinn, two daughters, Gwen Lowe, and Tootie June Rueter, and brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Gwinn of the home, five sons, Gerry Gwinn of Jonesboro, Ar. Iven L. Gwinn, and Gary Gwinn of Carlinville, Ill., Larry Gwinn of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Danny King of Sullivan, Mo., one Daughter Connie Cole of Mississippi. Two brothers John Gwinn of Virden, Ill. And Earl Gwinn of Deshae, Ar. Many Grandchildren and great-grandchildren and greatgreatgrandchildren.
Funeral services was held in the chapel of Mcnabb Funeral Home. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery with Bro. Terry Miller officiating.
