Mrs. Selina Bestor Dead
Well Known Washingtonian Passes Away in Asheville, N.C.
Mrs. Selina Bestor, widow of Whitman C. Bestor and mother of the late Norman T. Bestor, who died suddenly in this city June 4 last, died at here home in Asheville, North Carolina, yesterday.
Mrs. Bestor was in her eighty-ninth year. She is survived by three daughters. One is Mrs. Barry, wife of General Thomas Barry, United States Army; another is Mrs. Potts, wife of General Potts, United States Army and the third is Mrs. Helen Doyle of Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The death of Mrs. Bestor recalls the sudden death of her son, Norman, who was suddenly stricken June 4 after his return to his apartments in the Woodley from the Chevy Chase golf links where he had been playing a game. Mr. Bestor was a banker and clubman of prominence.

Mrs. Bestor Is Buried
Funeral services for Mrs. Whitman C. Bestor at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the chapel in Oak Hill Cemetery were conducted by the Rev. William Tayloe Snyder. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Bestor was 89 years old and is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Barry, wife of Major General Thomas H. Barry, United States Army, Mrs. Potts, wife of Brigadier General R.D. Potts, United States Army and Mrs. A.B. Doyle.
