OBITUARY
Chesterton Tribune
April 12, 1895
Mrs. Margaret Smith, of Waverly, died at her home of pneumonia on Sunday March 31, at the age of 59 years. Funeral services were held on Wednesday April 3, at St. Patrick's Church, Chesterton, Rev, Fr. Kroll officiating. The remains were buried in the Catholic Cemetery. The deceased leaves a husband and a large family of children to mourn her loss.

There some age confusion and if Margaret was the first wife of her husband Andrew. Some censuses show a 23 yr age difference and others a 10 year. This is pending research.
