She was a member of the National Association of Retired Public Employees and the National Association of Retired Postmasters.
She was also a member of Meadowview Presbyterian Church in Louisville.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Arthur Sampson; three sisters: Delora Burleson Buchanan, Roxie Austin and Pearl McKinney; three brothers: Henry Cecil Burleson, Clarence Burleson and Jack Burleson.
