Gracie Mae Thronesbery was born on May 29, 1925, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2010, in Chandler, at the age of 84 years.

Gracie, the daughter of Dempsey and Maggie (Stidham) Taylor, was a long-time resident of Chandler. She married C.L. Thronesbery on June 9, 1943, in Chandler. Gracie was a homemaker and member of the Chandler Southern Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and John Crawford, son amd daughter-in-law, Carroll & Evon Thronesbery, brothers, Bill Taylor of Chandler, Don Taylor, Roy Taylor, Ira Taylor, Jerry Taylor, sister, Dorothy Wakley, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Chandler with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Carney Cemetery in Carney, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
