Son of Henry and Ida Valeske Haase and was baptized July 31, 1910 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School and was confirmed May 13, 1923 at Immanuel. He attended high school at Concordia at Seward. On August 27, 1936 he married Hedwig Toelle at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Albert worked as a farmer, St. Charles Township Assessor, and drove truck for Elgin Hasenkamp and Don Wietfield. He retired due to ill health in 1992 and entered Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer.

Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and playing cards. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served on various boards of the church and school. He also served on the District # 3 School Board.

Survivors include daughters Gladys (Dave) Throener of West Point and Bernice (Marvin) Siebrandt of Bancroft, sons LeRoy of Wayne, Richard (Juliann) and Norbert (Ellen) of West Point, grandchildren Allen and Barb Haase, Mike, Mark and Monte Haase, Chad Haase, Danielle Romshek, Staff Sergeant Chris Johnson, Jackie Watson, Pamela Wright, Jennifer Gideon, Doug Siebrandt, Justin and Tera Throener, 22 great grandchildren, sister in laws Olivia Haase of Howells and Viola Brown of Wisner, brother and sister in law Victor and Veronica Toelle of Pierce, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Hedwig on April 11, 1993, brothers August, Martin and Erwin, sister Edna Neiman and daughter in law Diane Haase.
