Albert C. Cerrato, 63, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at his home. Prayer services will be held that evening at 8:30 p.m. Committal is private. Born in Jersey City, N.J., Mr. Cerrato resided in Newton before moving to Piscataway 10 years ago. He served an enlistment in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He formerly worked in telecommunications with ADP in Clifton, N.J. Mr. Cerrato was a member of the Piscataway VFW. A collector of Lionel trains, he loved to play baseball and was an avid N.Y. Jets and N.Y. Yankees fan. He is survived by his sons, Andrew Cerrato and Jennifer Browne, and their daughter, Andre Cerrato of Piscataway, and Alphonse Conner and Minnette Roye of Piscataway; his sister, Suzanne Bramante and her husband, Frank, of Linden, and his nephew, Albert.
