In memory of Frances Berry, 90, of Anaheim, CA, formerly of Westphalia and Iola, Kansas. Our loving mother passed away on January 22, 2010, after a short illness. At her side were her four children Shirley Edwards, Norwalk, CA, Marsha Murray, Overland Park, KS, Dennis Olson, Anaheim, CA, and Robert Olson, Belton, MO.
She also leaves 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Elinor Harris, Owatana, MN, Bessie Casteel, Tacoma, WA, and Peggy Sylvia Guertin, Sacremento, CA.
She was married to Bladen "Brick" Berry on May 17, 1958, at Kansas City, MO, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1991.
She was a woman with a great sense of humor who loved to play cards and bet on the football games. One of her favorite past-times was playing in the "Kitchen Band" with all her friends at Rancho LaPaz.
Mom, we will miss you so much. Have fun in that "Casino In The Sky."
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2010, at Jones Funeral Home in Burlington, Kansas. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery east of Burlington.
The family will meet with friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society , and may be sent in care of Jones Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839.
