Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Corl, 76, a longtime Sioux City resident, were held at 1 p.m. August 16, 1969, at the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home in Morningside with Rev. Donald Bruner of the Morningside Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Corl passed away August 13, 1969, at a Sioux City hospital.

The former Florence Workman was born May 10, 1893. She married Leonard Coon in 1912 in Correctionville. He died in 1924. In 1927 she married Frank Corl in Sioux City. He died in 1960. She was a member of the Morningside Church of Christ and the Moose Lodge. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. LaVon Doyle, Miss Esther Coon and Miss Mildred Coon, all of Sioux City, four step-daughters, Mrs. Ninta Hippe and Mrs. Ilo Husted both of Huron, South Dakota, Mrs. Leah Petersen of Burlingame, California, and Mrs. Helen Sharpe of San Mateo, California, two brothers, Earl of Correctionville and Alvin of Corte Madera, California, two sisters, Mrs. Edith Coon of Cherokee and Mrs. Grace Smith of Correctionville, fifteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.
