Enlisted from Bridgeport, Aug. 13, 1862, carpenter, age 40. Wounded and captured May 2, 1863, Chancellorsville, Va. Paroled May 15, 1863. Transferred to 41st Co., 2nd Batt. VRC Dec. 2, 1863. Also participated in the Battle of Gettysburg.
