Son of Abraham Argerbright and Delilah Eaton. Solomon was about four years of age when his father died.

1m: Amelia Larimore on Apr. 10, 1861, in Wabash Co., IN. Parents of James, Charles, Emma and Harry. They divorced in April, 1890.

2m: Mrs. Emma Baker in Ft. Wayne, IN on Jan 14, 1892.
News Item: 29 Jan 1892 Solomon Argerbright sues Emma Argerbright in the circuit court for a divorce. It appears they were married for a very short time.

He received a patent for his fastening device for coffins.

Solomon was the uncle of Mary Waller, who was living in Kansas but died in Wabash County, Indiana, following childbirth.

Allan D. White of North Manchester records the following accomplishments of SA Argerbright:

Newspaper editor Globe (briefly) prior to 1872. Grocery store owner Globe (briefly). He was on the town board. He contracted to build the town's first jail (see the stone part of the building on the southwest corner of the present hall)and proceeded to operate a business on the second floor. He bought a furniture company in Decatur IN, and that he sold for the Hodell Furniture Company Decatur.

Argerbright involved in Excelsior Building which the Peabody factory occupied later, the successor of his Novelty Works, involved in folding bedsteads etc.
