Phyllis Lenora(Miller)Nevitt, 95, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at the Golden Keys Nursing Home in Neodesha.

Phyllis L. Nevitt, 95, of Neodesha, formerly of Cottonwood Falls, died Aug. 2, 2003, at the Golden Keys Nursing Home in Neodesha. Phyllis Lenora Miller, the daughter of Albert and Alta Miller, was born May 26, 1908, in rural Quincy. She attended grade school, high school, and business college in Fredonia. She worked for the Bell Telephone Company before her marriage to Fred. M. Nevitt on Nov. 23, 1927, in Newton. He died Jan. 12, 1983.

She is survived by a son, Fred M. Nevitt Jr. of San Diego, Calif., two grand- children and four great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, five sisters and three brothers: The graveside service was conducted by Mr. Fred M. Nevitt Jr. at Hillside Cemetery, Toledo Township, on Aug. 9. Brown-Bennett- Alexander Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Graveside service will be Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, at 10 a.m. at the Hillside Cemetery in Saffordville.
