Marie Marler Fitzwater, age 79, of Poplar Bluff, passed away January 14, 2010 at Mark Twain Caring Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.
She was born March 15, 1930 in Mill Spring, MO., daughter of the late Roy & Ethel (Eaton) Marler.
She worked as a clerk for Super X Drug Store.
On August 11, 1950 she was united in marriage to James Olin Fitzwater. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2006.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda (Butch) Van Meter of Goodland, FL; 3 brothers, Ron Marler of Green Bay, WI., Daryl Marler of Nampa, ID., Steve Marler of Green Bay, WI.; one sister, Marilyn Saunders of Green Bay, WI.; 5 grandchildren, Jeffery, Jennifer, Kristina, Rochelle and Stefanie; 4 great-grandchildren
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Roberson.
