Anthony-McMillan, Penny Lee (Flowers), on January 23, 2010 lost her courageous three year battle due to a respiratory illness. She has joined her parents, Bernice and Ray Flowers, and brother, Terry Flowers, in the Kingdom of Heaven. She was a loving companion, very proud mother, grandmother, sister and will be greatly missed by her many friends. She is survived by her soul mate, O.A. Bob McMillan; daughters, Robin (Ernie) Vila, Angie Adlesperger, Cindy (Rick) Liberte; brother, Larry (Sandy) Flowers; eight granddaughters and one grandson. She was born and raised in El Dorado and at her passing was while living in Wichita. Her passion and love was about her family and her advice and guidance will be missed. She also loved teaching her grandchildren her skillful quilting endeavors, gardening in her many flower gardens, reading and raising her two spoiled dogs. She was a very skilled painter and once owned a school teaching others her painting talents. She loved all animals especially dogs and has owned and cared for many different breeds. She also loved to travel and be adventurous. Her bicycling in Vermont, charitable work in Venezuela, visiting Asia and parts of South America and especially visiting her beloved family homeland of Ireland. Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Inurnment will be in the Burns Cemetery.
