George Henry Wicks Sr . husband of Anna Marie Erb Wicks, father to Paul, Elizabeth, Fred, George, Arthur, Chris and Anna.

George and his family farmed in Wantagh, Long Island, New York. His sons eventually left Long Island to farm elsewhere. Paul moved to Maryland. George, Arthur, Fred and Chris all moved to Delaware. Only Elizabeth and Anna remained on Long Island. George, Arthur, Fred and Chris are all buried in Delaware. Paul is buried in Maryland. Elizabeth is buried near George and Anna in Greenfield Cemetery.
