era jane Hoodenpyle, 92 Year old former Big Cabin resident, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2003 at Claremore Nursing Home in Claremore, Okla.

Jane was born April 16, 1911 in Adair, Okla. to Ottie Dye and Ethel(Brown) Dye. She wae a lifetime area resident, a home maker and a member of the Apostolic Life Tabernacle in Vinita. Jane was united in marriage to Ernest Hoodenpyle in 1935 at Chouteau, Okla. They spent most of their married life on a farm in Big Cabin before moving to Chelsea. Ernest preceded her in death on August 21, 1976.

Her parents, two sons, one daughter, three sisters, and one brother also preceded her in death. Surviving family members include: three daughters; Pearl Rose of Claremore, Vivian Breshears and husband John of Chelsea, Betty Most and husband Allen of Kansas City, Mo. three sons; Lloyd Cunningham and wife Dottie of Sacramento, Calif., Ernie Hoodenpyle and wife Doris of Big Cabin, Okla., Wayne Hoodenpyle and wife Sue of Dallas, Texas, Three sisters; Vera Newkirk and Daisy Pitts both of Vinita, Evelyn Kincaid of Claremore, twenty-two grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2p.m., Wednesday, June 25 at the Apostplic Life Tabernacle(located at the corner of Miller and Sequoyah streets). Rev. Micheal Jackson will officiate assisted by Rev. Eddie Wrinkle. Interment will be in Dawes Cemetery in Chelsea.

Serving as Pallbearers will be roger Hoodenpyle, Rickey HoodenPyle, Wesley Most, Edward Cunningham, Mike Breshears And Hoby Troglin, The family will recieve friends from 6 to7 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Burkhalter Funeral Home, Services are under the direction of Burkhalter Funeral home.
