Phone call to Young County Clerk's office to inquire if they had any information on his passing. Their search was unsuccessful. Phone call to Morrison's Funeral Home in Graham, spoke with Kristie. She found limited information on J. T. which indicated he died in his home in Loving. While speaking with the County Clerk, she informed me that filing a death certificate wasn't required at that time which is probably why there is no death cert. on file for J.T.

Jobe T. Boyd married Linda Witherspoon in 1873.
Boyd moved to Loving in 1903 from Callahan County, Texas. He was a member of the Christian church for many years.
Survived by his wife; three grown children; grandchildren.
