Her mother was Anne Eve Rouche and her father was Thiebaud Wetzel who died in Pugeot, France 26 Jan. 1826. The Herbst family settled in Chickasaw County Iowa raising their Children and later moved to Burwell, Nebraska where she and her husband Andrew Herbst are buried.
