Leroy Brinegar 1848-1929; Cynthia Brinegar 1853-1935. Leroy (also known as Marion Leroy on some census record) is the son of Jacob Brinegar (1807-1881) and Sheba Sizemore Brinegar (11 Dec 1813 - 14 Dec 1853). Leroy's parents and siblings moved to Wyoming County, WV in the early 1850's. He came back when he was young to NC to live with/near his sister Malvina Brinegar Hoppers. Cynthia Caroline Osborne Brinegar (Nov 1853 - 11 Jan 1935) is the daughter of Zederick Osborne (14 Jun 1830 - 13 Nov 1915) and Katherine Hoppers (22 Jun 1830 - 8 Nov 1923). Children of Leroy and Cynthia - Candice, Margaret, Sarah Ellen, Unnamed daughter born on 8 Dec 1866 in Wyoming County, WV (Leroy & Cynthia must have moved back to Wyoming County, WV for a couple of years and then came back again to NC, this unnamed daughter does not appear on the 1880 census in Gap Civil, Alleghany County, NC), Sheba, James Isaac, Trealy Myres, and Tenie Brinegar.

This picture was taken Sep 2007. This cemetery is on a huge hill behind a campground on Pine Swamp Road. It has several descendants of Ezekiel Joines (9 May 1824 - 7 Mar 1904) and Jane Jennie Crouse (27 Oct 1827 - 10 Mar 1911), along with family friends Leroy and Cynthia Osborne Brinegar.
