Catherine Lynch Alberti, 91, formerly of Pennington Blvd., died Oct. 19, 2000.

Mrs. Alberti, a native of Portsmouth, was the widow of Otto William Alberti.

She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Maryview Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include one son, one daughter, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, William E. Alberti.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Slowik and the Rev. Leo Manalo. Burial will follow in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery. A Christian wake will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth.

Memorial donations may be made to Oasis of Portsmouth & Chesapeake, 1020 High St., Portsmouth, VA 23704.
