She was born Feb 5, 1916, near Osage City, the daughter of Robert and Mae Edman Laubach. She grew up in the Osage City community and after graduating from Osage City High School in 1934, she taught school for four years.
On June 29, 1939, she married Ellsworth Peterson. He preceded her in death on May 14, 1981.
She and Ellsworth lived on a farm near Miller where she remained until 1990 when she moved to Osage City.
On Jan 26, 1994, she married Wally Drevits of Smolan. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters; Doris Holloway and Carol Peterson and her husband, Robert Hurwitz; three grandchildren: Devid Drevits and Miriam Drevits Romalis; and four step-grandchildren: Elizabeth and Megan Drevits and Rebecca ans Michael Romalis.
She was a member of Stotler Covenant Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Services were Monday, Feb 27, at Stotler Covenant Church. Interment followed at Rapp Cemetery.
