COLE SERVICES ON WEDNESDAY
Lifelong Resident of Community Dies on Sunday
Funeral services were held on Wednesday from the Guttenberg Methodist church for Mrs. James Cole, who died Sunday following a long illness. The services wee conducted by Rev. Donald Caspers, pastor of the church.
Burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery near Colesburg in charge of the Tuecke funeral home with the following as pallbearers; Don Billmeyer, Lawrence Bolsinger, Clarence Bolsinger and Melvin Hill.
Isabelle Cole was born October 31, 1885 near Colesburg, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Parsons. On February 11, 1905 she was married to James Cole. The family moved to the Guttenberg community about four years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Cole are Mr. Cole, two sons and three daughters, Mrs. Grace Meyers of Edgewood, Mrs. Susie Billmeyer of Guttenberg, Mrs. Effie Scholz of Dubuque, Oscar Cole of Garber and Russell Cole of Dubuque.
Also surviving are nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ida Cornwell who lives in Colorado and Mrs. Earl Harry of Dubuque and one brother, Wesley Parsons of Amana.
