GUNTERSVILLE - William Harrell Bagley, 73, of Route 3, Guntersville, died Tuesday at a local hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle with the Rev. Albert Patterson and the Rev. Gerald Adams officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery in Morgan County.
Mr. Bagley was a veteran of World War II and was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include a son, James Bagley of Guntersville; four daughters, Frances Prince of Albertville, Dorothy Davis of Arab, Roberta Bodine of Guntersville and Carol Scherr of Germany; a brother, Edward Bagley of Asheville, N.C.; seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild, three step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild. Visitation will be today from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
