Walter Cleveland Long, son of Sanford A. Long and Mary Jane Johnson Long died about 3:30 P.M., Wednesday afternoon at his home in the Mill Creek area at Noel, after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Long was born and raised in Oklahoma where he married Flora Robertson, and worked as an oil field Supervisor. They moved to Colorado for a time. After retiring, they moved to the Noel area. Survivors are his wife, eight sons: Desmond, Donald, O'Dell, Roland, Ralph, Joel, Walter Jr., and Gene, and two daughters, Jowana and Patricia.
