Morton Smith Dies
Morton Smith, N710 Stone, a retired farmer, died Tuesday at his home. He was 71 and had lived in Spokane 10 years, coming here from Whitman county. He had been employed by the Hedlund MiIll company and is survived by his widow, Malinda, at the home; a son, George, and two grandsons, all of Spokane. The body is at the Ball-Bumgarner-Swanson funeral home.
