Berry Quincy Adams, 80, of Milmosa Road, Norfolk County, was found dead in his home about 11 a.m. yesterday. Death was attributed to natural causes.

The deceased was a retired employee of the Seaboard Air Line Railroad and was well-known in Portsmouth. He was a native of Halifax County, N. C., but had made his home in this section for the last 40 years.

The deceased is survived by 10 daughters, Mrs. E. R. Ollice, Mrs. Berry Respass, Mrs. J. L. Caffee, Mrs. George Coakley, Mrs. George Cousins, Mrs. Beatric Robertsons, Mrs. Austin P. Adams, of Portsmouth; Mrs. Wilbert Bailey, of Wakefield; Mrs. George T. Bullard, of Petersburg; Mrs. Roy Vannier, of Miami, Fla., three sons, E. Q. Adams, Jr., of Portsmouth; Robert Adams, of Petersburg, and Bernard E. Adams, also of Petersburg; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The deceased was a member of Prospect Baptist Church, Dinwiddie County.

The body was taken to Sturtevant Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
