Visitation for George Frank Zbornik, 68, of Placerville will be from 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Westwood Hills Memorial Park with Chaplain Tim Thompson of the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department officiating.
Mr. Zbornik died of natural causes Sept. 19 in Seattle, Wash.
A native of Franklin, Minn, he lived the past 37 years in El Dorado County. He served with the U.S. Army from 1944-48 during World War II. He was a carpenter, retiring in 1990, and was a member of the Georgetown Veterans of Foreign Wars and Carpenters Local 1486, Auburn.
Mr. Zbornik is survived by his wife Julia H. Zbornik of Placerville, son Michael Guilbault of Washington, daughter Jeannine Morris of Rancho Cordova; mother Anna Zbornik of Minnesota, sister Maryann Felknor of Minnesota, and one grandchild.
