Lillie M. Weeks
Lillie Marie WEEKS, 95, who had resided at the Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, for the past 10 years, died at 9:23 p.m. Saturday in the Peabody Health Care Center.
She was born May 29, 1888 in Lagro to John and Sarah Ann COLDREN RUDICEL. She was married Oct. 21, 1908 to Vallie S. WEEKS, who died Sept. 11, 1947.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Huntington, and the Order of Eastern Star. She formerly lived in Akron.
Surviving are a son, Hugh S. [WEEKS], Rochester; a step-daughter, Mrs. Jacob (Mary) SCOTT, Elwood; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. Two brothers and a sister preceded in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Peabody Memorial Chapel, North Manchester, with the Rev. John CURTIS officiating. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery, North
Manchester. Friends may call at the chapel an hour before services. Bender Funeral Home, North Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
