Services Tuesday For Mrs. Waldrop

Mrs. H. G. Waldrop of Booneville died at 8:45 a.m. Monday in West Point at the home of her daughter, Miss Rachel Waldrop, whom she was visiting. She was 74.

Mrs. Waldrop, widow of the late Dr. Henry G. Waldrop, who was Prentiss County health officer for many years before his death in December 1963, had suffered a stroke Sunday.

She was the former Miss Isabella Montgomery Agnew, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Agnew of Bethany, where she was born and reared.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in McMillan Funeral Home with the Rev. L. A. Wood officiating. Burial was in Bethany Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home o f Baldwyn was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Waldrop leaves two daughters, Miss Rachel Waldrop of West Point, and Miss Mary Waldrop of Booneville; a brother, Sam Agnew of Bethany; and two sisters, Mrs. Janie Robinson of Bethany and Mrs. Lou Branyan of Tupelo.
