Rites For Plainview Woman Set Thursday

Mrs. Sallie Vicie Edwards, 70, of Plainview died at 9:40 p.m. Monday in West Texas hospital as the result of a heart condition. She had been a resident of Hale county five years.

A. Bryan McDonald & Son Funeral home ambulance is taking the body to Plainview this afternoon, where it will lie in state at the Lemons Funeral home there until services are held sometime Thursday at Estelline.

Survivors include four sons, Finas of Plainview, O.C. of Shawnee, Okla., Earl C. of N. Hollywood, Calif., and Steve Edwards of Burbank, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. J.D. Gilbert of Artesia, N.M., Mrs. A.T. Couch of Anton, Mrs. Myrtle Irby of Turkey and Mrs. Lena Mitchell of Perryton; three brothers, W.C. of Clifton, Andrew of Waco and Ernest Chandler of Estelline.
