Ernest Allen Services for Ernest Allen, of Brookhaven, were 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven.
Mr. Allen, 80, died Dec. 24, 2006, at his residence. He was born in Lincoln County on Sept. 14, 1926, to Versie Allen and Vinia Case Allen. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife, Sally Mae Allen. Survivors are his son Roy Allen and wife Alice, of Tomball, Texas; his daughter, Connie Smith and husband Jimmy, of Brookhaven; his stepchildren, Jane and Andy Jackson, Bob and Joanne Allen, Joyce and Tommy Smith, and Peggy King, all of Brookhaven, and Kenneth and Minnie Allen, of Monticello; his half brother, Ray Allen, of Brookhaven; his half sisters, Merle Smith and Vickie Trotti, both of Brookhaven; and his six grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 19 great-step-grandchildren, and four great-great-step-grandchildren.
