Loretta was born July 25, 1926 in Delaware County to the late James Martin and Modena Gilmer Cranfill.

She married Connie Snider and he preceded her in death Dec. 15, 2002.

Loretta enjoyed making ceramics, cooking, crocheting and gardening.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Laura (Courtney) Landis, Marion, Lisa (Alvin Jr.) Adams, Converse, Richard Landis, Marion, Susan Landis, North Vernon; four great-grandchildren, Arthur (Tiffany) Geiger, Marybeth Landis, Nicole Landis and Ridge McKee.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Allen Landis.
