Dayton, Sept. 25 – Charles John Gustafson, 66, died this afternoon at the Home hospital, Lafayette, from cerebral apoplexy. Born in Sweden, he came to this country in 1894. In 1906 he married Axia Swanson who died in 1929. He was engaged in farming southwest of Crane and a member of Wildcat Christian church. Surviving are one son, Chester, of Lafayette; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Elming, R.R. 8, Mrs. Stephan Swanson, West Lafayette, and Mrs. Evan Jackson, R.R. 6; three brothers, Ernest of Lafayette, David and Oscar, R.R. 7. Body at home after 2 p.m. Wednesday and funeral services at the Baker funeral home at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
