Hazel L. Treesh, 89, of Vistula Road, Osceola, died of natural causes in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka at 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2004.

Born in Culver, Ind., on January 19, 1915, Hazel was the daughter of Louis and Nellie Heminger Wolfgang. She had lived in Bremen until 1960, when she moved to Plymouth where she lived until 1977, then she and her husband moved to Florida where she lived for approximately 20 years, before moving to Osceola.

On January 17, 1960, in Plymouth, Hazel and Kenneth A. Treesh were married. Kenneth died on January 1, 2001.

Hazel had worked at the Bremen Foundry for 30 years, as a casting worker and inspector.

She enjoyed doing anything outdoors, traveling, road trips, watching televsion, but her biggest enjoyment was being with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Glenice J. Bennett of Osceola, her grandchildren are: Karen and Bill Meister and Robert and Karen Bennett, both of Mishawaka. Seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Her great grandchildren are: Tracy Vantine, Pamela and Mike Tarwacki, Scott Meister, Stephanie Meister, Shawn Bennett, Carrie Bennett and Jessica Bennett. Her grear-great grandchildren are: Chad Vantine, Christopher Buggs and Krislyn Tarwacki.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Dolores Dague, and her brothers Carl, Ralph, Paul, Richard and Audrey Wolfgang.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2004, in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth, Ind.

Funeral services will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home on Saturday, October 9, 2004. The Rev. Charles Krieg, pastor of the Salem United Methodist Church, Bremen, will officiate.

Interment will be in Oakhill Cemetery, Plymouth, Ind.

Memorial gifts in Hazel's memory may be given to the Kidney Foundation or the Cancer Association.
