Ruth Naomi Adrian, daughter of Henry J and Mary Anna (Egenriether) Adrian, was born 05 Feb 1918, in Rogers City, Michigan. She was the fifth born of nine siblings.
Ruth was baptized 14 Apr 1918 at St John Ev Lutheran Church-LCMS, Rogers City, by the Rev. Ernst Ross. Ruth's godparents were Erhardt Schulwitz, Mrs. Rachel Bredow, Mrs. William Haselhuhn.

On 30 Dec 1939 she was united in marriage with Arnold Hugo Adolf Zinke at Immanuel Ev Lutheran Church-LCMS, Moltke Township, by the Rev. Herman Heinecke. Witnesses were Melvin Zinke, Clara Lamb. Arnold was the son of Son of Albert Zinke and Ella Rieger.
To this marriage was born eight children: Norma Ruth, Roger Arnold, James Richard, Kenneth Lee, Arnold Robert, Karen Sue, Mark Howard, and Maryella Louise.
Ruth passed away 12 Jan 1958 at the early age of only 39 Years, 11 Months, 7 Days.
