Diehl of 2603 Plyers Mill Rd., Wheaton, Md., father of Mrs. Harriet McDuffee, Mrs. Frances Garrison, Mrs. Nancy Sansome and Charles S. Diehl; brother of Edna Sheffer, Virginia Miller and Floyd Diehl. There are four grandchildren.

Mr. Diehl rests at the Warner E. Pumphrey Funeral Home, 8434 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, Md., where service will be held Monday, October 5, at 1:30 p.m. (parking facilities0. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday and Sunday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
