He m. (1) on 3 Jul 1814 Achsa Thompson (1782-ca1824). They had two children, Eunice, b. 1816, m. James Ladd and Jason, bapt. 1823, d. unm.
He m. (2) ca. 1825 Nancy Hill, b. 29 Nov 1794 to Jonathon Hill (1747-1832) and Charlotte Fox (1754-1836). He d. 26 Mar 1868 and she d. 25 Feb 1866. Their gravestone shows the death dates shown here, which are interchanged from those given in a History of Montville, CT, by Henry A Baker, 1896
He was a farmer and lived on a farm later owned by the Town of Montville. He and his wife, Nancy, belonged to the Congregational Church at Montville Center. He was in Capt. West's Company in the War of 1812.

2. Charlotte, b. August 1828; m. Jared Starr Rogers.
