Lonnie was the son of Gabriel Harvey and Talitha Susan Reynolds McMullin of Lincoln County, Kentucky. He was married to Ora Kershner McMullin, and she was the informant on his death certificate.

He was born 19 February 1885 and died in a tragic accident April 29, 1924. Death certificate from Galloway, Clay Township, Greene County, Missouri, reports Lonnie was carrying a gun behind him, was watching a hawk, and stumbled over a log in his barn yard. He was mortally wounded by a gunshot.

Date and place of burial was April 30, 1924 in Dodson Cemetery, Greene County, Missouri.

McMillin

Funeral services for Lon McMillin, who died Tuesday morning at his farm when a shotgun in his hands accidentally was discharged, were held yesterday afternoon at the home, three miles east of Galloway, and burial was in Dodson cemetery under the direction of Thomas Chaffin, undertaker, of Ozark. He was a son-in-law of the late Captain W. H. Kershner, who died last June. The widow is a sister to the wife of Perry H. Smith, of Springfield, United States deputy marshal.
