Sis was born the daughter of the late Fred and Rose Kerber Brucker. She married Marvin Wilbur Beyer on January 7, 1937, in Gibson City. He died January 7, 2000. Surviving are one son, Jerome (Janet) Beyer of Cropsey; one daughter, Jeanne Kay of Winter Garden, FL; grandchildren, Kelly (Brad) Batholow of Kampala, Uganda, Jennifer (Jim) Freehill of Melvin, Lea (Tom) Russo of Winter Garden, FL, John Beyer of Lombard, and Julie Lee of Pontiac; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Will, and Jessica Bartholow, Ben, Jessica, and Amanda Freehill, Alex, Taylor, and Isabella Russo, Zach, Ethan, and Emme Lee; one sister, Helen Althouse of Gibson City Hospital Annex; one niece, Vi (Dick)Egger of Decatur , and one nephew, Marty (JoAnn) Althouse of Melvin. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Lillian Monahan. Sis was a devoted farm wife, an excellent cook noted for her pies, and enjoyed gardening and sewing for her family. Pauline was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Colfax.
