Della Mae Hooper, daughter of the late Edwin B. ford and Minnie K. Langston, was born Jan. 20, 1930 in Wild Cherry, Arkansas and departed this life on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010 at the age of 80 years.
Della Mae married Donald Hopper on May 14, 1944 in Mountain Home, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Hopper, of Kennett; one daughter, Linda M. Milburn and her husband, Sam, of Kennett; two granddaughters, Christina King, of Kennett and Trina Ingram, of Kennett; four great-grandchildren, Felicia Wright, Aaron King, Gavin Ingram and Ashley Ingram; one great-great-grandson, Austin Wright and other relatives and many friends.
Della Mae was preceded in death by three brothers, Hershal Ford, Glen Ford and Odel Ford and four sisters, Sally Fuller, Ida Copeland, Gladys Roberts and Lorean Dillinger.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 22, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett with a graveside service Saturday, Jan. 23, at Cluster Herron Cemetery in Henderson, Ark., with Pastor Kirk Betz officiating.
