Mr. Drain had been an employee of the B&O for the past 30 years, during which time he was located at Parkersburg. Before that he was with the Pennsylvania railroad for 15 years. He was born in Wood county. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.
He leaves his wife, Lettie Drain; five daughters, Mrs. C.R. Taylor, Mrs. Robert Moore and Mrs. Donna Roan of Parkersburg, and Misses Emogene and Isodene Drain, at home; three sons, Clifford, George and William Drain, all at home; two brothers, W.F. Drain, city, and Frank Drain of Akron, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. S.W. Jackson, city and two granddaughters.
The body was removed to the Leavitt mortuary and will be returned to the residence at 1221 Staunton avenue this afternoon. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Stephenson Memorial Methodist church, where the body will lie in state from 1:30 to 2:30. The Rev. W.A. Hopson will be in charge and burial will follow in Davisville cemetery.
