1930 census: Allen B. (62), Effie M. (52), dau. Flora C. (16, b Wisc) and nephew Charles L. Elliott (7, b Wisc)....this is Charles Ernest Elliot and Laura E. Crown's son. Residing in Plainfield.
1940 census: Allen B. (72) and Effie (62) and nephew Charles Elliott (17). Residing in Plainfield. He operates a farm. [Note: Frank Elliott and wife Gladys reside next door in 1940. Frank works as a pipe layer for the W.P.A.]
