John Clark died at 8:20 o'clock April 27 at the residence of his brother-in-law, E. N. Bragg, on east Twenty-second street. John, came to his death on April 27, 1892, by being struck by a car attached to train No. 22, on the main line of the Union Pacific at the cotton mill switch about twenty rods west from the West Kearney depot.
He was aged 45 years and 7 months. Mr. Clark leaves a wife and seven children the eldest one being about twenty years of age. His funeral was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock in the First M. E. Church.
