Daughter of David Leon Bennett and Narcissus Gillis; first wife of Livious Watson Kinnon married 9 Jun 1914 and divorced 1945 in Volusia County, Florida. Mother of known children Estelle Hildreath, Lewis A., Melvin, and Etheline.

Mrs. Linnie Kinnon, age 73, died early this morning in a local hospital following an extended illness.
She was a native of Millwood and the former Miss Linnie Lee Nancy Bennett daughter of the late David Leon Bennett and Mrs. Narcussus Gillis Bennett.
Mrs Kinnon attended Indian Mound Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J.D. Sapp, Waycross and Mrs. John T. McKierman, Jacksonville Fla.; two sons, Lewis Kinnon, Shubuta, Miss., and Melvin C. Kinnon, Waycross; two sisters, Mrs. J. D. Herrin, Waycross and Mrs. Emmett Thomas, Millwood; two brothers, Williford L. Bennett and D. B. Bennett both of Millwood; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Indian Mound Baptist Church with burial in Hargraves Chapel Cemetery.
The body will be carried to the residence of Mrs. J.D. Sapp on Albany Avenue Extension this afternoon and will remain there until the hour of the funeral.
Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge.
