Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church in Olney officiated by Rev. Jerry Becknam, pastor of the First Baptist church in Tahoka.

Adrew was born in the Orth community, Young County, Texas. He was a lifetime resident of the Olney area.

He and Martha Foster were married 27 August 1949 in Olney. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He entered the Navy in 1944. Andrew trained at Great Lake, Illinois. He was an oil producer.

Andrew was a member of the First Baptist church where he served as a deacon.

Survivors: wife; son - Robert Andrew of Olney; daughter - Jody Jones of Sherman; brother - Jack Andrew of McCamey; five grandchildren - Kristy Brinkley, James Jones, Craig Andrew, Kelli Andrew, Kyle Andrew.

He was preceded in death by twin daughters in 1951.
