Oscar Andrew married Miss Mary Lena Malone on 7 November 1886 in Barry, Texas. The couple moved to Young County in 1901 settling in the True Community. To this union 10 children were born, five girls and five boys.

Services were held for O. Andrews, 75, who died at his home in the True community, four miles south of Olney. Graveside rites at the True cemetery were conducted by Rev. W.H. Townsend, pastor of the Olney First Baptist church. Mr. Andrew was a farmer.

Besides his wife and children, Mr. Andrews is survived by his mother who is 99 years of age and lives in Long Beach, California. Survived by his daughters - Mrs. Lee Caldwell of Amarillo, Mrs. Lee Herring of Dallas, Mrs. Fred Jennings of Long Beach, CA, Mrs. Bobie Jewell of Dallas, Mrs. J.P. Guimarin of Sanger; five sons - S.H. Andrews of Long Beach, CA, Oscar Andrews, Jr. of Taft, CA; E.V. Andrews of Orth, Harry Andrews of Olney; eight grandchildren; three sisters - Mrs. Lena Caldwell of Long Beach, CA, Mrs. J.W. Malone of Troup and Mrs. O.N. Wiggins of Center.
