Sister Ida Swansey was the daughter of A. D. and Helen Crider. She was born Sept. 2, 1861 and professed religion when twelve years of age at Piney Fork campground. She joined the church at that place and remained a member thereof until her death. Oct. 4, 1883, she was married to O.F. Swansey. She leaves behind her three daughters to mourn her loss. She was a faithful Christian, a good neighbor, an industrious economical and affectionate wife and a kind and loving mother. What is our loss is her eternal gain. We feel that she has entered upon that rest that is prepared for the people of God.
